Magnus Thorvald, as strong and stubborn as the oak he carves, steers clear of loose women since his ex-wife’s betrayal.
Kat Donaldson, thirtysomething free spirit, suburban Philadelphia art gallery owner, enthusiastic sex-club devotee, meets the first man who won’t say yes.
When Kat hears about an obscure artist’s uncommon talent, she tracks him down to a rural corner of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where he lives in a stone barn like a monk. Overwhelmed by the power of his carvings, she offers to represent him. Her blatantly sexy attire warns Magnus away from the tall, willowy redhead even as she ignites unwanted feelings of lust. Despising his body’s instant reaction, he turns her down flat.
This only makes Kat more determined—she has a reputation for launching new talent. Plus, the sight of this magnificent Viking, six-five with blond hair and glacier-blue eyes, kicks her libido into instant lust.
When Magnus’ irrepressible younger brother agrees to pose nude for Kat’s art class, all hell breaks loose as he tries to make Magnus jealous enough to go after what he wants.
But how can Magnus admit he wants this fiery Valkyrie who, like a butterfly, samples every flower in the field? |

Cris Anson has created an absorbing, exciting story populated by well-rounded characters that long for things that they think would never come their way. The sexual heat between Magnus and Kat practically sizzles while the love scenes are numerous enough to keep you squirming in your seat. If you have a yen for brooding heroes and tough-as-nails independent women, hot sex and fast paced stories then Dance of the Butterfly is clearly a worthy choice. Dance of the Butterfly is a definite gem that will have you scouring the web for another swipe at Cris Anson’s work. – Raashema, Euro-Reviews“Kat and Magnus are two very likeable characters. The chemistry between them is explosive and the sex scenes are scorching hot and erotic. Dance of the Butterfly is a well written, passionate love story of two people who are the complete opposite [and] fall in love, and if they are to have a future together they must both let go of the past and find a middle ground. Sexy, passionate, emotional, intelligent and fun, that’s what Dance of the Butterfly is. This one is a keeper!” — Cupid-Pleasure-Factor: 5 Cupids, Luisa, Cupid’s Library Reviews
“…highly erotic and highly charged with emotional intensity…Exciting, loving, and very sensual, Dance of the Butterfly proves to be a great sequel… a fun story to read but it also covers some very serious relationship issues such as trust, love, and commitment.” —Sarah W., Fallen Angel Reviews

Magnus and Kat’s story is endearingly well written and emotionally charged. They are both confident, self-supporting, lonely people. Emotionally they need each other but neither are willing to give in. I could feel the heat of both characters’ anger after one of their verbal battles, as well as their frustration when they weren’t able to communicate properly. DANCE OF THE BUTTERFLY is the second book in Cris Anson’s DANCE series. This book is definitely a keeper, and one I’ll read many times in the future. — Chrissy Dionne, Romance Junkies

“…sizzing heat and escalating love and trust that’s won the old-fashioned way.” — Faith V. Smith, Romantic Times |
